A Relaxing Time in Bukit Timah with Feet Haven

With our daily work, sitting down at the desk typing furiously on the keyboard. It will definitely cause strain to our neck, shoulder and back. And all that walking to MRT, to Lunch, standing on heels and such causes sore feet that we can only soak them at night to relieve it for awhile.

I was so glad that Feet Haven invited me to their latest outlet in Bukit Timah for a massage session. As I've had some back injury before from another massage place, Ed went in place of me for the massage and I took a Foot Massage instead!

Here's a look at their price table, quite affordable right. There are different timings and different massages for you to choose from, so pick the one you like.

Feet Haven has really cozy decoration which makes you feel at ease, just like how you would feel when you are home after a long day and just really looking forward to that relaxing massage to remove all the knots in your body.

They have couple rooms and single rooms for you to choose from, so you can come along with your friends, other half or even your parents. Mother's day and Father's day is round the corner, maybe it is a good chance for you to treat them to a relaxing time.

This is the Foot Reflexology area. Plush and comfy chairs which makes you want to fall sleep on so that you are most relaxed during the session.

I love how the Therapist used the most adequate amount of strength for me and always ensuring that that I am comfortable throughout the whole session. I've always admired the professionalism of Massage therapist for they need to use their strength the whole day to help many customers to massage. Thank you.

Ed also said that the 60 Minute Body Massage was really enjoyable, it loosened knots from his shoulder and calf especially and the therapist had maintained the same strength throughout the whole session.

Overall, we enjoyed ourselves at Feet Haven's latest outlet in Bukit Timah and we are now more relaxed. I would totally recommend it to friends and families to visit them.

Bukit Timah Cafe Hop - The Missing Pan

Cafe Hopping is like a norm nowadays with everyone gathering at the newest and hippiest cafes around, even those hidden in alleys or what not. I hopped on the cafe hopping train and landed myself in Bukit Timah with some of my dear ladies for a day of Cafe hopping in Bukit Timah. We started with Assembly, and next, its The Missing Pan, check out out hashtag #bukittimahcafehop on instagram!

The Missing Pan is really packed so I definitely recommend you to make a reservation prior to visiting to avoid long waiting time. The black paint makes it stand out along the row of shophouses. Though being 2 storey high, it's pretty cramp, might be due to the fact that they have a lift within them. During my visit, many young couples and families can be spotted chilling the weekend away.

Lychee & Lemon Mint Homemade Soda $6 - Refreshing drink to quench your thirst with hint of mint and two huge lychees, definitely worth your money! 62 degree egg with smoked salmon $22 Delectable smoked salmon on toasted bread with avocado spread topped with 62 degree poached egg and hollandaise sauce. Something I would actually come back for despite the journey from my home.

The Guinness Pot Pie $24 is a first for me, Infusing Guinness within the Beef Stew, A little strong but when paired with the puff pastry, this becomes a relatively pleasant balance. 

I've heard so much about TMP's French Toast Salpicon $19 I simply had to try it! When presented with the colourful fruits (Banana, Strawberry, Dragon Fruit, Kiwi and Fried Banana Nuggets), the French toast seems like a sweet treat. But upon further probing, it reveals a chest of savoury chicken, mushroom and spinach. Definitely one of its kind in my dictionary! The Huge Portion will make you fall in love at how value for money this dish is. Oh, I'm craving for this as I type.

I'm planning to head back to The Missing Pan for their Lunch Menu which looks seriously enticing!!

Bukit Timah Cafe Hop - Assembly

I finally got my butt to the west with my ladies for a Cafe hopping day in Bukit Timah! this round we visited a total of 5 Cafes within 8 Hours +/- and I must say I enjoyed every single second of it! ♥ Our official Hashtag of the say was #bukittimahcafehop so you can look that up on instagram to have a peek at where we visited and what we had. I'm going to blog about them slowly. So first up, it's Assembly!

I've heard so much about assembly and I did not expect it to be so cosy! But do not belittle this quaint cafe here. It's almost full house at 10am on a Sunday Morning! Who wakes up this early on a Sunday? Definitely not me, But I might convert if assembly is near my house, I love the earthy and cosy feel, almost dreamlike, the coffee smell that rushes into your nose when you step in... Pure Bliss.

Their scrambled eggs are to die for. Such fluffiness and smooth to the palete, paired with the fresh crunchy yet doughy Crossiant and the smoked salmon. A hearty breakfast which I do not mind to wake up to everyday. I wish I could order a side of the scrambled eggs!

All the Coffee related drinks here at Assembly will not disappoint! Smooth and aromatic, definitely nothing near acidic, just the way I love my Coffee. Definitely one of the best coffee I've had in a while. If its not for the distance, I would pop by Assembly as much as I can to get my fix.
