FNNSDD5 Finalist Interview - F.I.X

Well Well, It down to the 15 Finalist in the FNNSDD5 that is happening this Saturday!! 

I got the chance to interview the group that came all the way from Malaysia - F.I.X !

 I am WOW-ed by their tight choreography, their creative moves and their teamwork. Now, lets get to the interview!

1. Why is your group called "F.I.X" ?

The full name for FiX is FreeInSix. We actually started off as 3 combined crews which are Free Crew + Insane Crew + 24siX crew.

2. How did F.I.X come together as a group?

Our crew came together for a local television competition in malaysia. Which are Astro Battleground, but our chemistry as a group is solid so we remained as a crew and continued competing in various local competition.

3.  What is F.I.X's Favourite dance genre?

FiX fav dance genre would be popping animation. We are a all-style-anything-goes group, therefore it is hard to say. It is also due to our individuality that it became hard to define our genre.

4.What is the biggest challenge that F.I.X have faced so far as a group?

The biggest challenge that FiX have faced so far as a group would be our self, in many different ways. We always choose to compete our new routine against our old routine with "can our new routine beat the old?". And as dancer our self we tends to compete against each other on "who improve the most". There is also our different in opinion and ideas that sometimes can be a big challenge as we argue and debate... ALOT!

5. What does F.I.X hope to achieve from taking part in FNNSDD5?

We hope to achieve international level stage experience from taking part in FNNSDD5, it will be our stepping stone to a higher level we must say that this "stepping stone" is a VERY BIG STONE.

6.What Inspires all members of F.I.X to continue dancing?

What inspired us to keep dancing is different, but as a crew i would say it is due to chemistry. But individually, it ranged from love of dance, to the only thing that I see myself doing, to YOLO(You only live once).

7. Could F.I.X members give tips to fellow dance enthusiast who love to dance but are afraid to step out?

Well, YOLO (You Only Live Once)... The question is, If you dont start now, when are you gonna start?

Well, it's really cool to have dance groups from our neighbouring countries to come join in the fun at FnN Singapore Dance Delight Vol.5! I've seen dance groups with members that come from different backgrounds but the teamwork they show is really stunning, well, all I can say is they have a common goal,dance and pride is the driving force. :)

Congratulates to F.I.X again and I can't wait to see their performance in the Finals on 10th May 2014 at the Kallang Theatre!

Day away to Malaysia with my family

So if you have been reading my blog for quite some time now, you must know that I have been frequently going in to malaysia for the past 3 months in 2012. LOL! So I went in today(11/03/2012) AGAIN, but this time my dad came along too! ^o^

Just look at how wonderful the weather was? *awwww*

We took the Bus from Queen Street Bus Terminal to woodlands checkpoint and on the way I manage to snap a picture of this beautiful river/canal ? No editing was done to this picture okay! ^^

Then we reached Johore, just look at the cute clouds! You tell me how can this not be a good day ? >:)

Then we went to have Bak Kut Teh that my mum's colleague introduced! IT WAS AWESOME ! Show you some pictures! >:P

SUPER FULL and SHIOK after the meal and it only cost us SGD$25 ! *pull hair*

After that, we went to KSL to shop again!

We walked around and bought contact lenes, masks, bumpers and ear piece.

Then we went to Aunty Annes, LOOK ! So full of yummy goodness! ^o^

I bought this Chocolate Sticks, YUMMY! 

Another choice to the usual pretzels ^.^

I went in to buy hello kitty contact lens for my friend and I bought 2 more pairs myself!

Dont say I didnt ask you all whether you all want to buy anot hor! I did, HERE!

Haha, so I was saying, I bought 2 other pairs for myself as I found out i didn't have any more blue lens. The one on top if the diamond series and the one below is the Koni series. I cant wait to try them!

So after shopping around for awhile more, we decided to stop at Kim Gary Restaurant! The food here is nice and the environment also quite nice ^o^

Then before we head home, I finally went to buy J.co Donuts after walking pass it so many times in malaysia. Reason for buying because my friends are telling me that they taste better than the ones in Singapore. o.O

So now I have 4 pairs of lens waiting for me to wear them :)

Diamond, Koni, Mystical Beauty and Hello Kitty! I have no idea which one to open up next because I want to try them all on!! >:)

A girl can never have too many masks right?

JUST LOOK AT THE AMOUNT OF MASKS I HAVE NOW! O.O

I bought them in malaysia at 1 pcs for RM3.50! CHEAP! And buy 10 get 1 free, so I got 8 eye masks and 4 facial Lifting masks :) Will do a review on them soon! 

And In case you are wondering when am I going to finish using all these mask?

I also don't know. But among these masks are some very good ones and Im giving them away soon!

Hahahahaha! So I went in to Malaysia on Sunday to get my Nails Fixed for CNY!

I love Gelish but it hurts abit when removing them. 

I went in early in the morning! Left house at 9 to go Bugis to take the SG-Johore Express to woodland checkpoint and after that to Malaysia! Reached JB Sentral and was hungry so we went for KFC!

Their tables even have table mats~ how nice.

Tadaaaaaaaa ! My a.m Platter, consist of scrambled eggs, Hashbrown, Bun with Melted Cheese and a piece of Chicken! Yummy & Filling!

Then we went to take cab to KSL City to get our nails done and look at the handle of the door, SPOIL already wtf, I wonder who is so violent. O_O

Then we reached KSL City & it was very CNY-ish!

After getting my nails done, I went to Shilin to buy Nom Noms, XXL Chicken Chop & Pork Floss Egg Crepe ^o^ 

&You can get this very cute Ang Pow from shilin with every RM18 spent! ^o^

& I found this shop selling lots of posters and Kpop stuffs! I bought a Super Junior Poster at only RM12 ! Cheap anot? *ELF*

Then I also bought these Ezlink card sticker cards for G and myself. *BlackJack*

& Introducing the YUMMY SNACK I FOUND!

Chef Tony's POPCORN! OMG ITS SUPER YUMMY LA!

All their flavours are super heavenly and more suited for us Asian taste buds ^o^

I bought their cheese flavoured ones, Country Cheddar and Creamy Parmesan!

TADAAAAAAAAAAAA ! My Nails For CNY! I actually wanted something different But because the shop was so packed, I decided to just go on with this simple one. Shall do a more complicated one next time ^o^

& Aldayez's Toe Nail Art, I swear the girl who drew this for her very professional. Took her less than 5 mins for both toes. WOW O_O

Another Super Cute Ang Pow from a Bak Kwa Shop where I bought a special bak kwa from, Almond Bak kwa ! Very nice & the bak kwa from this shop very tender as well, no need to stress out teeth biting on those hard ones during CNY anymore! Yay!

All this talking about CNY is making me very excited & I still have some stuffs I have not buy for CNY! *Rush Rush* OMG ! CNY FASTER COME! So will my long holidays and the end of my internship!
