I ordered their Chilli Crab, Coffee Pork Ribs and Cereal Prawns to try and they were all really good! The Coffee Pork Ribs was really aromatic and the coffee smell filled my whole living room. The Cereal Prawns were fresh but the cereal was a little soggy by the time it arrived.

 

*Fun Fact*  Crabs naturally travel about 500m every night and prefer to live alone. However, crab farmers breed many crabs in a confined space in order to be profitable. This causes the crabs to get stressed very easily in captivity as many farms cannot replicate their natural habitat. When stressed, crabs produce ammonia, which is a sign of decomposition of seafood. Most restaurants purchase farmed crabs because they are cheaper. As a result, they use highly fragrant gravies to cover up the ammonia smell.

Just look at how meaty the crab is, I ordered an Extra Large sized crab (about 900 g - 1KG) and my family was waiting to dig in the moment it arrived. The Chilli Crab Sauce was very fragrant. Upon first taste, it did not have the "Ketchup-y" taste which some chilli crab sauces taste like. You can clearly taste the aromatic chilli but it is not too spicy to be enjoyed by the younger ones.

To ensure freshness, 8crabs's crabs are caught, flown, prepared and delivered to you within 12 hours.

Their in house chefs prepare and cook these fresh crabs daily to guarantee the best flavour and taste. Just look at how meaty their crabs are! Order a side of Mantou to dip into their Chilli Crab Sauce, we paired it with rice and it was so good too!

SANTOUKA HOKKAIDO RAMEN Anniversary New Menu - Dry Soba Salad which is too beautiful to eat

I'm here to share with you the latest Japanese Noodle Place that I've tried and they have a anniversary promotion coming up!!!

Here it is, the Kaisen-Hiyashi Mazesoba ($16++) which comes with Salmon, Scallops, Prawns and Ikura. Resting on a bed of special sauce which you can toss them all together to create a great tasting Soba Salad.

Not only the noodles, for $16++, you get to choose some sides to :

A: Char-Siu, Roast Beef or Unagi

B: Mixed Vegetables, Flavoured Bamboo Shoots, Si-Chuan and Red Pepper Flavoured Green Onion, Coriander, Black Fungus, Broccoli or Cheese

We got to try all the sides during the tasting session but you can get to choose 1 from "A" section and 2 from the "B" section. I personally recommend the Char Siu, Black Fungus and CHEESE! Haha. 

We then also had the Spicy Shio Ramen ($16.50++) which has a light salty broth and mildly spicy taste. The noodles were springy and it comes with 2 Pieces of Char Siu.and spring onions! Me Love!

Last but not least, we are having the Strawberry Parafait ($13.50++) which includes vanilla ice cream, fresh cream, crunchy cereal and strawbarries!
