I would like to thank FnN & Omy once again for this invite to be blogging about #FNNSDD5! It's my first experience with Dance Competitions and I must say I am really enjoying myself, looking at all the dance groups perform their best pieces in order to get into the Top 15 Finalist List! Kudos to all 45 Teams!
It was definitely an eye opener for me at the preliminary rounds - all of the dance crews are so good! They must have put in alot of effort in choreographing every single dance step and the formation and the co-ordination. The different genre of music chosen and the many different style of dancing were all well executed.
Let me first introduce the judges(L-R): Mr Ryan Tan, Ryo San and Ms An An
At the age of 23, Ryan quickly became a well-known face in the local dance industry. His desire to continuously challenge himself to progress with the times moved him to explore various dance forms in New York, Los Angeles, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
Ryo is a member of the widely popular Beat Buddy Boi dance crew who amaze the dance stage with their innovative and tight dance routines. Being one of the strongest Hip-Hop dance crew in Japan, Beat Buddy Boi was crowned as Champion for the prestigious international street dance competition, Japan.
Famed for her groove and rhythm, An An is no stranger to the local and international dance community. Her dance crew, Da Street Soulz, represented Singapore in the prestigious international street dance competition, Japan Dance Delight in 2012.

Power packed judging panel.. I feel stress for the contestants! But they certainly kept their cool and danced it off like it meant their whole life, well I think it does, on a certain level mean their whole life, within that 3 minute choreography.
