River Safari - KaiKai & JiaJia

I won myself a visit to see KaiKai & JiaJia at the River Safari! YAY!

Welcome Kai Kai, Jia Jia * Mich Mich. LOL!

A little information about the new River Safari:

River Safari is the newest addition to Wildlife Reserves Singapore’s portfolio of award-winning parks. Nestled between Singapore’s two award-winning wildlife parks – Singapore Zoo and Night Safari – River Safari offers an unforgettable adventure inspired by eight of the world’s most iconic rivers. This $160-million attraction features state-of-the-art exhibit design, Southeast Asia's largest panda exhibit as well as the world's largest freshwater aquarium. Housing one of the world’s largest collections of freshwater fauna, the park features over 5,000 specimens representing 300 species. And that includes Singapore’s resident giant pandas, Kai Kai and Jia Jia.

Let's go on a tour with the many animals that can't live on land! HAHA.

Disclaimer: I did not remember all the fishes names, so bear with me while i describe them according to their appearance. And also, I will try not to type too much words in this post, so just enjoy the pictures! Thank you.

The river safari has some land animals too, Like this cutesy Monkey hiding from all tourist by standing so high up there!

OKAY, From this point onwards is where the pandas are kept but the area does not only have kai kai & Jia Jia, They have friends too!

AND PLEASE! Keep your volume down (do not scream when you see the pandas).

You know what? All the pictures of this panda i have seen so far right, The panda is AT THE SAME SPOT IN EVERY PICTURE! Is it fake one? I seriously wonder.

Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaa ! Hello KaiKai! ♥

They are relatively still Small and cute as they are still young. :)

AND THEN, It was with great luck and honor that we get to see the Super Shy JiaJia, Feeding on Bamboos! I felt that it was so rare that I had to take a Video of her! Look at the video here because blogger can't seem to find my video! LOL.

But anyway, here's a Gif of her Eating Bamboo Cutely! :P

And somemore pictures of Jia Jia Since she rarely comes out.

Then inbetween KaiKai & JiaJia is like a mini gallery where you can know more about Pandas and there is a panda statue for you to take pictures with, you get to see a baby Panda too! Spot the Pink little thing!

*Fact about Pandas

Just before you exit, this is a screen where you normally will see the shy jiajia in her den, But here in the screen you see kai kai because jia jia is still busy munching on her bamboos outside. :)

Then you will step into the gift shop which is No Photography one! I didn't know.. ):

Then, I really Recommend you all to go to this MAMA PANDA KITCHEN! :)

WHY? Because you get to eat PANDA BAO! :D and many other yummy dishes to fill your tummies after seeing the pandas! :)

Top left: Panda Cappuccino ; $5.50, Taste Average.

Top Right: Panda Bao - Red Bean Filling Bao that cost $3.90 or $4.90 :x

Bottom Left: Tumblers for soft drinks, $3.90 only! and you get to bring back the tumbler! YAY!

Bottom Right: Wonton with chilli Oil and Pan fried Gyoza - Average..

Then we continued to walk around River Safari and was just in time for a cute Monkey Breed Feeding time! :) The monkeys will come super close to you one, but they wont touch you la! :D

Then it's about fishy again! Piranha FISH! :OOOOOOO

Hehe, that's all about the River Safari because quite a amount of the enclosures are not up yet. ): I shall head over there another time when it's fully up! :D

Singapore ZOOlogical Gardens

I Wish to Thank Openrice for choosing me as the Winner of their Contest which gave me a chance to see the 2 Super Cutesy Wootsy Panda! :P

And Since I was there already, I did not want to waste my trip to the west so I top up another $14 to get the park hopper pass so that I could visit the zoo also! ^^

So this post will be about the Zoo First because me and Apple, My Buddy of the day, wanted to go see the Animal shows in the zoo first! LOLOL!

But first! Take picture with every animal possible at the ZOO! HAHAHAHA!

First show of the day, with all the cute little kids , ITS FULL HOUSE!

Its the Seal !!! *squeels*

Then while on the way to another show, We saw these monkeys roping across above our heads! :D

Hehe, we rushed to the Kids world to watch another show where they showcase dogs! ^^ All the doggies are so clever and tame! I wish I had a dog..

These 2 doggies were out for us audience to touch, lol.

They are a Cocker Spaniel and Labrador Mix ! :D

Then we went to explore the kiddy world and saw many cute animals like ponies and goats and bunnies! 

We were just in time for the goat feeding so we bought a pail of carrots and long beans to feed the goats for $5 ! :)

But there is also a bunch of leaves at the side of the enclosure for you to pluck healthy green leaves to feed the goats if you don't want to buy the $5 pail :)

After the show, we went to visit some of my relatives. *ifyouknowwhatimean.jpg*

Frog, they creep me out sometimes..

Then a new addition to the zoo, a Puma! :) But they are still relatively shy so they don't really come close to the glass for us to take pictures. mehhh.

Then we headed for another show! I super love the shows! ♥

Best time = Photo taking time with the animals! YAY!

Flamingos ! They don't look really pink you know? 

Otters! They are super cute but their area smells of their pee because they like to mark their territories! >_<

The otter has spotted us! *run!* lol.

Can you see the joey hanging out of it's Mummy's Pouch? The zookeeper said that they can stay inside until they are 1 year old or more. WOW, great Mothers ley Kangaroos! Happy Mother's Day ah! ^o^

That's all at the zoo from me! :) I love the feeling of visiting the zoo again after so many years, love watching the animals do their things or do nothing, lol.
